The office of the Municipal Clerk and Registrar is responsible for the storing and maintaining of all government records. The definition of a government record means any record that has been made, maintained or kept on file in the course of official business by either a public agency or an officer acting in his or her official capacity.
The duties of a Municipal Clerk are described as follows:
Serves as secretary to the governing body
Serves as secretary to the Municipal Corporation
Acts as Administrating Licensing Officer for the City of Ventnor
Serves as Administrator for all elections within Ventnor City
Serves as records coordinator and Manager

All meetings are conducted in compliance to the Public Open Meetings Act. Ventnor City Commission meetings and Workshops are held on the second and third Thursdays on each month. Commission workshop sessions are held at 6:00 PM, and Commission meetings are held at 6:00 PM, unless otherwise noticed.
